Rapid Paycard Account Issue Resolutions

Updated:

Your Rapid account may be pending identity verification if your deposits or withdraws bounce after the card is activated. This can occur for several reasons including a 3rd party load, or our bank has flagged information on the account as inaccurate and need documents as proof of validation. There could also be a transaction on the account that does not fall in line with the cardholder agreement. In this event, the cardholder would have to provide at minimum of two forms of non-expired identification documents as listed below. The Rapid team does send out notifications to alert the employees of this. If documentation is not received within the given timeframe deposits are restricted from posting to the cards until documents are submitted and the account is validated.

Additional documents will be needed to review the account and lift restrictions including 2 forms of ID:

  • Non-expired government issued ID
  • Signed copy of Social Security Card

The cardholder can upload the documents in the Cardholder website rapidfs.com, in My Documents found in the upper right-hand corner drop down menu. Clients can upload documents on behalf of the cardholder through our administrative portal.

Once documents are submitted, the review may take 24-72 hours to complete. Any rejected deposits that were sent to the account will appear back in your issuing bank within 3-5 business days.

Attached is a guide to submit documents to RAPID
