Add Benefits or Emergency Contacts in UKG

When adding a contact, you may choose for them to be a dependent, beneficiary, emergency contact, or multiple. Adding a contact as a beneficiary or dependent does not automatically tie them to any policy you enroll in. You must still complete the proper enrollment documents at policy sign-up to designate the entered employees.
Dependents and Beneficiaries will not be contacted in an emergency situation. Employees should designate at least 2 emergency contacts. 

To Update Account Contacts:

  1. Login to UKG, under "My Information" select "Update My Information"
  2. On the page that opens, ensure you have selected "Available" at the top (unless you are returning to a saved change in progress). Then scroll down to action 5 and click start. 
  3. Edit or remove current contacts using the three dots. Add a new contact using "+Add"
  4. You may select one or multiple contact types at the top of each contact. If you are adding a spouse or child as a dependent for benefits, please include their full legal name, date of birth, and social security number. 
  5. Save All Forms Before Closing Out!
  6. When contacts are as desired, select submit.
