Ad-Hoc Feedback In UKG

Updated:
The feedback feature is intended only for work-related feedback and should not be used to report harassment, discrimination, retaliation, legal claims, or other policy violations. Feedback may come from managers, peers, or external collaborators.

The ad-hoc feedback feature enables employees and managers to give and request feedback in real time outside formal performance review cycles, creating a more continuous and flexible feedback experience. By making feedback available when it is most relevant, the feature supports timely recognition, development conversations, and performance improvement. Ad-hoc feedback can include perspectives from both internal and external participants. Completed feedback will appear in the "Quick Reference" widget under the "Entry" tab in active performance reviews.

Using Ad-Hoc

Employees can:

  • Request feedback from anyone in the organization.
  • Provide feedback to others.
  • Respond to feedback requests.
  • Review feedback they have received or submitted.
  • Unlock private feedback to share it with their manager.

Managers can:

  • Request internal feedback about team members.
  • Request external feedback from clients, partners, or other individuals outside the organization.
  • Provide feedback to team members.
  • Request feedback about themselves.
  • Review feedback received for team members.

External Feedback

Managers can request feedback from individuals outside the organization using secure, time-limited email links and online forms. External participants do not require a UKG Ready account to submit feedback. External feedback is visible only to managers.

Visibility and Privacy

Ad-hoc feedback supports three visibility options:

  • Private (recipient only)
  • Recipient and manager
  • Manager only(for manager-requested feedback)

Recipients can unlock private feedback at any time to share it with their manager.
