What is Earned Wage Access?

Work your shift. Access your pay. Earned Wage Access (EWA) puts you in control with access to a portion of the wages you've already earned. It's not a payday loan or a credit card. It's just your earned pay, made available when you need it.

How it works

1. Download the UKG Wallet app and enter basic information to create an account.
   1. When asked if your employer offers UKG, select yes.
   2. The employer name is Blue Jacket Inc
   3. Enter your employee ID. You can find your employee ID on your pay stub or in the UKG app by selecting the person icon in the upper right.
      If you get an error that your information can not be matched to an employee at Blue Jacket, please verify your information is correct. If it is, please attempt to use any preferred first name that you may have placed on your onboarding paperwork. If you are still unable to gain access, open a support ticket.
2. Choose an amount to access from your available balance (up to 60% of earned hours).
3. The money is sent to your selected account or card. 
4. The money you accessed, plus any fees* incurred, will show as deductions on your next paycheck.
5. Track your accessible balance as you work during the pay period.

How long does it take to get Earned Wage Access funds?

Transfers to debit cards are made in real-time. Transfers to bank accounts are completed within 1-3 business days. Transactions made after 12:50 PM EST M-F are processed the next business day. See the fee schedule*.
