Submit A Job Order / Hire A Client

To submit a job order and hire a new client, that client must first complete the career academy. In the Academy, the steps in this article are completed: 


To submit the job order and hire a client:

  1. Log in to UKG and navigate to Team Actions, then All Team Actions 
  2. Select the Open tab to see actions you are currently working on, Submitted to see actions pending approval by HR, and Available to start a new Job Order. We will start a new job order by selecting Available and then the Start button beside "Submit Hire/Place A Client Request".
  3. In the box that appears, select the employee from the search bar and select Start.
  4. The following fields will appear. Follow the guide below, divided by the tabs on the side of your screen, to complete the job order and submit: 
    • Job and Pay Information
      • Re-Hire and Started: Both the start date of the client
      • Account Status: Active
      • Default Job: Search from the available pages (there are multiple) and select the best answer. All cleaning placements will be Transitional Cleaner, and all outside staffing placements will be Transitional Worker
      • Reason Code: Hire
      • Employee Type: Select Transitional Part Time or Full Time based on the role. 
      • Base Compensation: Select the blue "+ Add" button and fill in the following
        • Effective Date: Start Date
        • Reason Code: Hire
        • Amount: Employees' Hourly Rate
        • Per: Hour
        • Hours: Don't Adjust
        • Per: Don't Adjust
        • PP In Year: Don't Adjust
        • Amount Earning Autopay: Don't Adjust
        • Autopay Type: Don't Adjust
      • Career Development Coordinator: Select an option other than Not Assigned
      • Critical Contact Notes: Nothing Needed
      • Out of Job Market: Change to yes as the client is now employed
      • CONTINUE
    • Cost Centers
      • Default Cost Center: Navigate through the pages to find the correct cost center. Most client placements will start with Social Enterprises/Department/Employer
      • CONTINUE
    • Manager
      • Supervisor: Manager of the applicable enterprise or the business if it is a staffing placement
      • BJI Reviewer: Same as manager, unless the client is on a staffing placement, then the reviewer is Derrius Carroll. 
      • CONTINUE
    • Employer Contract/Placement
      • Contract Type: Select from the menu options
      • Start Date: Start Date
      • For Staffing Contracts Only:
        • FTE: Bill Rate%
        • Hourly Cost: Bill Dollar Amount (Optional)
      • All other fields are optional.
      • CONTINUE
    • Demographics
      • For Your Review Only
      • CONTINUE
    • Fields For HR To Use
      • For HR Only
      • CONTINUE
    • Fields For HR To Review
      • For HR Only
      • SUBMIT
