Timesheet Warnings & Errors
Overview
The following are current warnings and errors related to timesheets that are configured by your IT team. Any other errors should be reported to IT if they need resolution. Warnings are displayed in yellow and can be passed. Errors are red and the timesheet can not move forward until they are resolved.
On Save
This alert means that a time entry containing tips is entered under a department other than Tall Rabbit.
On Approval
You should approve or deny all timesheet change requests before approving the timesheet. See how.
Remove any time off taken after the employee is terminated. Employees are not eligible for time off after termination. Payroll will handle the payout of time off balances if appropriate.
Employees should not be terminated before their last shift. If this happened, talk to HR. If the time entry is wrong, correct it.
This warning does not always mean that the employee has overtime, but it does mean that there are more than 40 hours logged on that week's timesheets. This should always be investigated.
The timesheet you are attempting to approve is for the current week and the employee may be unable to clock in for remaining shifts that week.
The timesheet you are attempting to approve is for a future week and the employee may be unable to clock in that week.
Pending time off requests for the week must be approved or denied before timesheet approval.
Employees may not take time beyond what is available in their banks and the taken amount must be reduced on the timesheet before approval.
All time entries must have a clock-in and out time.
